Re-opening September 2022 with refreshed rooms and amenities, Steel offers student accommodation right in the heart of the University of Sheffield student community and just minutes' away from many of the campus buildings.

The building contains modern student rooms with a bed, study area and shower, as well as self-contained studios and apartments with their own kitchenette and more living space. You can enjoy a TV and study room at Steel, plus additional social space in the atrium. You'll also have full use of the amenities at Fenton House, including a gym, climbing wall, cinema and games room.

Steel is also conveniently located for Sheffield Hallam University, which you can reach on foot in around 15 minutes, and all the bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues in Sheffield city centre. Regular social events also take place on site which are a great way to get to know your fellow residents.
