Can I book a viewing?
Some of our properties allow you to view a virtual tour or video before booking, but if you’re looking for an in-person viewing please let us know by submitting an enquiry. Not all of our accommodation partners provide viewings, so a member of our bookings team will need to check this for you. In order to arrange a viewing, you’ll need to book the room. Once you’ve booked, we’ll be able to set up a date and time for you to visit the property. If you don’t like the room after viewing, you’ll be able to cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of booking
When can I move in and move out?
By clicking the Book now button, you’ll be able to see all of the booking periods available. You’ll need to select a preferred booking period to continue to the checkout. The dates provided are based on popular dates which fit around the academic year. If you prefer to move in later or move out earlier, you can arrange this directly with the accommodation provider after booking. Alternatively, if you can’t see the dates you’re looking for, send an enquiry and a member of our team may be able to arrange custom dates to suit your preferences.
How do I book this room?
If you’re ready to book your room, just click the Book now button and select a booking period to proceed. Following that, you’ll need to sign in to your Housemates account, fill in a few details and pay a refundable holding deposit. This is a small payment which allows you to take the room off the market. If you’re booking a room in the Republic of Ireland, a booking fee may also apply. Can I change or cancel a room booking?
Yes - you can change or cancel your booking. After you make a booking, you will enter a 14-day cooling-off period where you can cancel as long as you haven’t already signed a tenancy agreement. Some accommodation providers will allow you to change or cancel your booking beyond this point. If you wish to make a change or cancel after you’ve signed your tenancy agreement, please contact your accommodation provider.
