Less than 5 minutes away, Grove Park provides a place to meet friends or unwind, whilst the bus stop provides easy 35-minute access to the city centre. When it’s time to study you are well connected to all universities with the University of Birmingham just 11 minutes away by bus.

What happens to my reservation payment?

All properties on Housemates are verified to keep you safe and give you peace of mind. When you book with Housemates, you pay a reservation payment to hold the property. You will then enter a 14-day cooling-off period, where you can cancel for free and get a full refund if you change your mind. Once you complete the cooling-off period, we’ll pass your reservation payment on to the accommodation provider. They may use this as a security deposit, in which case, provided there are no damages to the property or unpaid rent payments, this money will be returned to you once you’ve moved out. Some accommodation providers do not require a security deposit, in which case the reservation payment will be deducted from your first rent payment.

Do I have to move in and out on the dates provided?

No - these are just suggested dates that fit the academic year. You will be able to speak to your accommodation provider about move-in and move-out dates once you’ve made a booking if you wish to change them slightly.
