Beech Gardens, the spectacular accommodation is in the leafy suburb of Edgbaston, is perfectly positioned for both the university and the city centre and all that Birmingham has to offer. The University of Birmingham is just a 10-minute ride on the free shuttle, and Aston University is a 20-minute bus ride.
There are big plans for Beech Gardens as we plan for the refurbishment of all units, doubling the number of WC’s and showers, the addition of two treehouse pavilion common rooms, and modern shared kitchen and lounge facilities.
Not only will the indoors be getting a makeover soon, but so will the vast gardens, with plans to create eco-gardening systems for our residents to get stuck in and grow fresh produce.

Here are a few of our frequently asked questions when it comes to this kind of property.
What happens to my reservation payment?
All properties on Housemates are verified to keep you safe and give you peace of mind. When you book with Housemates, you pay a reservation payment to hold the property. You will then enter a 14-day cooling-off period, where you can cancel for free and get a full refund if you change your mind. Once you complete the cooling-off period, we’ll pass your reservation payment on to the accommodation provider. They may use this as a security deposit, in which case, provided there are no damages to the property or unpaid rent payments, this money will be returned to you once you’ve moved out. Some accommodation providers do not require a security deposit, in which case the reservation payment will be deducted from your first rent payment.
Do I have to move in and out on the dates provided?
No - these are just suggested dates that fit the academic year. You will be able to speak to your accommodation provider about move-in and move-out dates once you’ve made a booking if you wish to change them slightly.
